The future of work is changing and it is reshaping our jobs and lives but are we prepared ?
Will there be enough new jobs for the increasing young graduates?
It has been predicted that by 2030 many jobs are likely to be disappeared or moreover automated, the anxiety of not getting a job and fear of automation and Other factors is fair enough for diverse fields from engineering ,health workers, management to medical etc.
Though we have seen a lot of changes in our education system the classroom space, grading papers, homework and whether college degree is essential to be successful in the future. Currently, jobs related to new technologies have been deployed and developed such as interacting with different digital tools or learning through smart boards in schools but as we progress towards a scintillating future the situation is perilous but few factors needs to prepared.
Most importantly the availability of free internet facility, relevant information about work should be made public to everyone across globe even in the remote areas rather than private specifically to those who are at risk. One data also recorded that '1 in 7 workers are self employed while 1 in 9 employees have a temporary contract, many work part-time and transportation being the foremost problem' for this we need to harness the obstacles to learning such as, lack of will, money and mobility. Finally ensuring that the jobs provided are better furthermore ,they’re well paid and purposeful.
Furthermore, students and job seekers should adopt interpersonal skills which include problem-solving, brainstorming, creative thinking and emotional intelligence. Cause, future is unpredictable and considering the current scenario of globalization and urbanization one has to develop core skills and saying yes to any opportunity irrespective of the domain in which they are skilled moreover, the education system should also provide the Necessary ability for one to learn. It might be possible that one has to go back and re-learn those credentials basically, learning how to learn and preparing oneself for the future But to create a well built India we need to work together with government, industry and information technology to drive growth and generate new jobs that’s feasible to everyone.
